Spencer turned nine on Friday! Holy gacow (as my dad would say)! He's growing up so fast!
It was a pretty cool birthday for him. First we went to the zoo (one of Spencer's favorite activities), all except the girls, who didn't want to see "poor, caged up animals". Or maybe they just didn't feel like going. Anyway, that was pretty fun. In the afternoon, Spence had a Harry Potter based party, complete with a snitch cake (masterfully rendered by my mom), the Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Beans taste test, and Harry Potter scene it. I think he had a really good time. I know I did!
