I did another one of those online chess tournaments, and it was great! My rating peaked at 1270 after I beat two people with ratings 1678 and 1345, breaking me away from the ranks of the speed chess rookies. Now I'm going to have to work harder to get trophies!
My regular rating (which wasn't affected by my online speed tournaments) remained the same, though, so I still need to get above the 1200s there. Wish me luck in my quest to escape my rookiedom and become a better player!

Just want to tell you congratulations on your new online speed rating and on your priest ordination! Those are both pretty big steps.
